Cochon Volant BBQ Smoke House
When pigs can fly there will be great barbecue in the Sonoma Valley.
Look! Up in the sky! It’s Cochon Volant BBQ Smoke House.
Yes, after seven years of dishing up authentic low ’n’ slow-smoked barbecue at private parties and public events, Cochon Volant catering chef-owner Rob Larman has opened a casual-service barbecue restaurant in Boyes Hot Springs.
Cochon Volant BBQ Smoke House serves classic American barbecue—ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, chicken and more—smoked over almond wood and presented Texas-style—sliced to order, priced by the pound and served on a butcher paper-lined tray. Sandwiches, sides, Larman’s signature “Killer” fries and “Big Ass” salads round out the menu, which should be familiar to Cochon Volant fans and those whose memories go back to Rob’s Rib Shack in the Sonoma Valley.
